Pseudoscorpions are amazing little (2-3 mm) creatures. They may be encountered under the bark of a tree, in a decaying log, or in the leaf litter and humus on the forest floor. In all of these situations they are predators, feeding on other small invertebrates such as mites.
"Pseudo" means false and they only look like scorpions. Pseudoscorpions do not posses a stinging tail.
